It's a tough loss, but no loss is easy. In the end, it was a knockdown, drag out fight between two hot teams, and it went into OT to boot. As we said all week, regular season records mean nothing. If they did, the game wouldn't have been in San Diego. This was the start of a new season, and unfortunately the Chargers get to advance.

Well...
as a Chiefs fan (and RIvers detester) I hate the Chargers
as a Titans fan I hate the Colts
It was a mixed bag for me, but I wanted the Chargers to lose.

Chargers
It may come to the point that I hate this team as much as I do the Broncos, I hate Rivers more than many Bronco. At least I respected Shanny.

+1... I'm already there
I do hate them more than the Broncs. I actually rank them (most hated to least):
1. Chargers
2. Raiders
3. Broncos
It’s pretty much in direct correlation to the respect I have for the players and organization. I don’t care for the Broncos, but I usually respect them. I have little to none for the Chargers and Raiders.

I hate them all equally.
But losing to the Broncos stings just a little more… maybe it has something to do with that 1997 playoff game when we were 13-3 that season and they forced Gonzalez out of bounds in the end zone and we lost to them 14-10 or something like that, and then they went on to win the Super Bowl. Freakin’ Donkeys.

I loved seeing Sproles get to strut his stuff. He is a damn fine football player. Even though he caused a fumble he came back and carried the team on his shoulders to a victory. Hats off to that “little” guy.
