Steelers Head Coaches since the 70s

Chuck Knoll.  Bill Cowher.  Mike Tomin.  The Steelers have done a remarkable job over the past 4 decades choosing young head coaches (Tomlin is a year younger than Kurt Warner) and being patient with them resulting in a winning and stable organization over the long haul.  The Steelers have taken calculated risks in choosing their coaches and it has paid off for them.  When the Chiefs announce their new head coach in the next couple of weeks, the organization will have had more head coaches this decade than the Steelers have had since the  mid-70s.  The main problem with the last 3 coaching decision Carl made was they were gutless; he went with three guys he knew really well.  Two of them were awful head coaches.  I hope that Clark and Scott take some risks and hire a young guy that leads this organization for years to come.
