Some supported, but praises be raised, there will be no Shanahan in KC.
Some have said my hatred of Shanahan was ignorant and unfounded, we will leave that to each individual's opinion. Wouldn't mind him bringing that offensive line to KC, but other than that, you can leave the rest of Shanny on the NFL scrap heap where he belongs.
I feel that his "greatness" as a coach was derived far more from the talent that he happened to show up just in time to "coach", than anything he was able to bring to the table X's and O's wise.
With that being said, I'm interested to hear others opinions not necessarily on who the Chiefs bring in to HC, but rather will the HC matter as much as the players that are brought in under the PIOLI regime.
In my opinion, the great coaches, at the pro and college levels, are the ones who can identify talent, give the talent the tools and support they need, and then get the hell out their way.
My vote foes first to the players, then to the coaches in more of a supporting role. What do you guys think?
PS: Texas Chief, I hope I didn't offend you with the your mom crack last week, but as you can tell by my screen name, its kind of a theme with me, obviously I'm OK with people taking a crack at my mom....
Wait that came out wrong.
