Arrowhead Absence; The Sacrifice
As some of you may've noticed by now, I've been pretty much M.I.A. around these parts.
See what had happened was....
My boss saw that I was on this website all day-every day. I mean, I got my work done. But I guess that doesnt matter much.I don't consider my "Addiction" to AP a problem. I like to consider it being die hard. I mean, when peope talk about their fooball team, they seem to not know as much as I do of my (our) Chiefs. And I thank AP for that... So, naturally, my boss shut off my internet. Now, I can't comment here... BUT I am STILL keeping up with AP and everything you (my favorite Chiefs fans are posting). I read everything off of my cell phone, all through out the work day.
I will be back sooner than later though. I'm 22 and live on my own and starting to get on my feet.... I just got my DirecTV and will be getting my internet too.
Now, I read that we should have a Arrowhead Pride Tailgate party.... That is a gnarly idea. But as awesome as that'll be on Opening Day.... I think we should make it the day we play the Dallas Cowboys. Cause that'll be the game I'll be attending this season. And what a game that'll be. But to top it off, putting a name to faces such as "TRUTH", "Eric Allen", "primetime", the infamous "UCrawford", the Ring Leader, "Chris" and everyone here at AP, would be pretty amazing if you ask me.
So, in conclusion... With everything that's changing in Kansas City, theres one thing that won't change for any of us.....
Need I say more?
Go Chiefs!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Nothing worse
Than a boss that doesnt understand passion and excitement for sports. I hope he knows that your dedication and loyalty for the Chiefs could carry over to your “work” if he wasnt such a douche bag.
If you dont stand for the Chiefs, you will fall for anything…

Unless your boss
is the uber paranoid type and put a top end web filter in place, you can go to websurfingproxies.net or some other free cover your ass type of surfing proxy. Hehehe! I spend half my life preventing shit like this for clients, but hell, he’s not my client! Welcome back bruddah!

Everything in moderation
I know many have the luxury of access to AP during working hours but I also am one of the unlucky ones who don’t.
I have internet access at work so that I could take a peak if I wanted to and the temptation is ALWAYS there to see whats going on, especially during the last month when the future of the Chiefs is literally being decided.
But it’s one of those things where you have to seperate the real world from your hobby so that you don’t get in trouble at work and can’t afford your hobby any more. :)

I agree...
I think with the growth of the site in fact, that someone eventually should become responsible for a tailgate at each home game….But that may not happen soon…who knows…
Myself, I like to eat really early and then head into the stadium early to take my place behind the home bench to see players and so on…It is a lovely time…

I wanna take my family to a game,
We will see what ticket prices look like before I can commit to anything. You are right on though, putting faces to names would be cool.
Welcome to KC Scott Pioli, home of the most rabid football fans in the NFL!

For those of us who don't live in town
you should post a photo of a big group hug!
And for those of us in So. Cal, I know there’s quite a few of us, we should do a tail-gate when the Chiefs come to San Diego.

Cool
I am really new to the whole AP site….I love it though. I became a Chiefs fan in 5th grade when Joe Montana came over and have not turned back since. I have never been to an NFL game before. I live in Western Ky. My brother is a big Cowboys fan so we are planning on going to the game when the ’Boys visit the Chiefs…..hopefully we can get tickets.
Great Site guys…
