Total hearsay , but
a guy I work with, an Arizona fan, said that last night on ESPN or NFL net., he can’t remember which, it said that the Chiefs were in negotiations with Haley. This was not reported, but on the ticker at the bottom of the screen. Please tel me if any of this is accurate.
I think maybe it cold be an interview rather than a negotiation. A negotiation would have been blasted al over the news.

You mean like the Chiefs nearing a deal with Shanahan is being blasted right now? :)

If the rumor mill about Shanahan in negotiations proves to be true....
Let me be the first to say:
A heartfelt thank you for all the input and support you have given the Chiefs to Grand_Master_A, Your_Mom’s_Boyfriend, Mooseface79, and the newest poster Guppy1979
Counting you among the Chiefs fans has been great.
Here’s to you raises beer in toast We’ll see you in 4-5 years when Shanahan’s contract is up.

A negotiation would also be tampering
A team cannot offer a job to a coach whose current team is still in the playoffs. We do not even know if they have met
The rumor mill is getting outrageous. Can we just agree on one thing: nobody, except Scott Pioli, has any idea what the hell is going on inside the KC organization. “That’s called life, get over it!”

agreed
And we’re gonna have to get used to it. Thing is, if Pioli and Hunt continue to pull off the ‘oh-my-god-darn-my-stars-saints-preserve-us cosmic coups’ and pull in the right coordinators and coaches, well, I’ll deal with not knowing till we know. It sure makes for a helluva rollercoaster ride though… And I think we are nearing the top of the long drop loop-d-loop balls to the wall stretch. Meaning, the train is almost at the top of the biggest drop. Almost. Then look at and get ready for the ride.
