If dismissed by Chiefs, Edwards could land with Colts
Profootballtalk.com reported that rumors are building that current Kansas City Chiefs coach Herman Edwards could land on his feet with the Indianapolis Colts if, and when, he is terminated by the Chiefs.
While the Colts have hired Larry Coyer as defensive coordinator, Edwards is regarded as an excellent seconary coach.
That might be bad news for defensive backs coach Alan Williams, who like Meeks and former Colts special teams coordinator Russ Purnell joined the team with Tony Dungy seven years ago.

Yeah me too...
It was interesting to hear it from a more liable source. Here’s a scenario: A new head coach (Possibly Shanahan or Haley) and keep Herm on as DC? Just a thought….
no,
It’s been discussed before, Lanier63 brings it up

and the major thought was that it would be impossible to demote him, and promote Chan lets say or bring in someone else – and still have respect and ability to command. If he’s done, we need to let him go, not keep him on. Keeping him in a demoted role will either undermine his authority or the new HC’s.
