PEPPERS WANTS OUT OF CAROLINA

Star-divide

“The front office has been informed of my desire to explore opportunities with other NFL teams following the expiration of my contract next month,” Peppers said in a statement e-mailed by his agent to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, and possibly others.  “At this point in my NFL career, I am seeking new challenges that will allow me to grow, develop and reach my personal potential on the football field."

Not that we would be a better situation or anything but I'd take him : )

Good news

Could this be the first big free agent aquisition for Pioli?

I think if you win two games or less in a year

the League should give you a 24 hour head start in signing free agents. LOL

But only the years that the Chiefs have one of those records.

We need a future defensive leader, his name is James Laurinaitis and he can be selected in round 1 of the upcoming Draft.

Ok already, if you don't agree with what I am saying, just don't email my mom again. She beat the crap out of me with my keyboard!

He's In The Same Boat As Gonzalez

He may want out, but the Panthers are under no obligation to release him for zero compensation like he wants. He’s getting franchised.

Herm Edwards will not be the Chiefs' head coach next season.

if they franchise him

they have to pay him 16.7 mil next year and he can still hold out…..not sure that will happen
He also stated that he wants to play in a 3-4 Defense scheme which we may or may not do

He wants to go ring shopping.

I bet he ends up in New york (Giants) or Jerry Jones gives the farm away and he ends up in Dallas. (Not that he’ll get a ring in Dallas)

just keep matriculating the ball down the field !
