Also, I know Gonzalez will be 33 next month, but he had 96 catches for 1,058 yards and 10 TDs this year. Oh, and after the trading deadline when he ripped the team for not trading him, he had 75 receptions for 865 yards and 8 TDs in 11 games. That's an average of almost seven catches for 88 yards per game. Imagine what he'll provide when he's doing what he wants to do - play for a winner.

The man is a legend
I could see him stay, but you have to admit, if he wanted to walk, he made one hell of a case for himself with those numbers. Any team to take an aging TE like that.

Nope.
Keep Tony. He’s a locker room leader, a consumate professional, a guy who plays every play, and the absolute best example we could find anywhere for all of the young guys in our locker room.
If you’re looking to deal someone, you get rid of LJ for whatever we can get for him.
Herm Edwards is Clark Hunt's guy. Herm and Carl forced Clark to choose between their differing visions on how to rebuild the Chiefs, and we all see who got their walking papers. Herm's going to be walking the sidelines at Arrowhead in 2009, and possibly even beyond, no matter who the new General Manager is.
