Isn't there more important things?
I mean seriously people. Isn't there more important things for congress to worry about? Baseball's steroid problem. If you want to call it a problem, had congress knee deep in that investigation. Then they interrogated every major sports commisioner. Spy gate was next. Are you freaking kidding me? Now NFLPA is in search of a replacement for the late Gene Upshaw and congress feels it is necessary to stick their nose in that.
According to a letter dated Jan. 8, Reps. G. K. Butterfield, Gregory Meeks, Edolphus Towns and Bobby Rush requested that a “detailed disclosure and description report” of the NFLPA search committee’s efforts be given to the group and the labor department.
You would think there is much more pressing problems in the country than things like this. WTF! People are losing jobs, we have military vets who don't get the benefits they F&^%ing fight and do their jobs for, Corruption in the finacial sector that is on an astronomical scale, A failing economy, and two giant American auto makers possibly going to stay under. This is something that congress feels is so important to our country that F&*^ that important shit and we'll worry about the NFLPA.
Sorry it is stupid shit like this that gets me fired up.

I agree totally
As an active duty service member I can think of several dozen things congress could be doing that would be much more productive and relevent. It’s a true shame that sports holds higher precedence than our economy and well being of the citizens in the greatest country in the world. +2
