A Josh McDaniels Hire

It sounds like Denver wants him but still nothing has been done. Of course it's been rumored that he may go with Pioli too, setting up a good off season showdown between the Donkeys and us. Do you guys think he is worth it or just another Patriots castoff that gets too much attention because he is a Patriots coach?

To me it seems like he may have a little something more than the rest of those castoffs. Teams that have interviewed him say he has qualities of a young Jon Gruden and Shannahan with regards to understanding of the game. I think he could be a great fit in KC due to his youth on a youth filled team, and the fact that he can develop QB's which would be terrific.

Everyone gets into the 1st round QB versus others debate (myself included). Whats more interesting is having someone who can completely develop a QB, not some grampa with an unfortunate name (that's you Mr. Curl). A smart minded guy to develop a QB, an offensive line, and a realistic, non college offense and all of a sudden things change.

However, the majority of these playoff winning teams are doing it on D. I wouldn't mind Jim Schwartz, the D-Coord of the Titans, especially if we are trying to restore of D and toughness of a young team.
