Ok, here's the lowdown on the GM

PrintSince I started all this with my letter to Clark on Dec. 15th titled "Dear Clark", published exclusively on Arrowhead Pride, I thought I would take a few minutes and share with you what's going on with the GM search. We all know what happened on Dec. 15th in the afternoon.
Clark has indeed interviewed Pioli twice and they have come to an agreement both sides are happy with. Scott is taking this weekend to wrap things up around home and Clark is going to announce on Monday the aquisition of what we hope will be our next winning GM.
Clark has indeed been talking with others about the job doing his due dilligence in the matter. But, he has taken the extra step of a professional in also contacting those involved by not letting them hang in the balance and telling them they will not be hired. Although he would have the attention of most of the NFL football world by making an announcement this weekend, Clark will wait until Monday to make it an all Chiefs day. What we need to do as Chief fans now is, enjoy the weekend and the playoffs, continue to hope and pray the Cheifs can make the right decisions to once again become an elite team and continue our dialogues on AP concerning Chief matters.
If I am wrong, you will have lost nothing but time and we'll all have a good laugh. IF I am right however... :)

Thigpen WILL NOT be the Chiefs starting QB next year IMO. He can compete for the job and should be 2nd or 3rd string.
If he is waiting for the Monday
then he is doing a good thing by not nudging in on the playoffs. They should get there time to shine.

josh mcdaniels is kinda holding out in denver because he knows something about pioli. or have they not offered him a contract?

A real kick to the stomach of the Broncos. After losing Shanahan, their next choice slips through their fingers and ends up at a divisional rival.
This looks like it’s going to be a wild ride and I can’t wait for it to start.

This is crazy so far this year.
The funny thing is that the offseason hasn’t started yet. This is only the beginning.

on a GM, and apparently talks are heating up with Pioli!! Alright admit it, you are not a firefighter, you are Clark just dropping us hints!!
Lets hope Clark lets the new GM start fresh, with his guys. Who would want a coach, who has lost twice as many as he has won in KC?
