Who and When: Baltimore Ravens v. Tennessee Titans @ 3:30 PM central time

Arizona Cardinals v. Carolina Panthers @ 7:15 PM central time

SBN AffiliatesBaltimore BeatdownMusic City MiraclesRevenge of the Birds and Cat Scratch Reader

After a great weekend of football, and really the entire week with the college games, we find ourselves readying for another weekend poised in front of the television.

I'm taking the Titans over the Ravens and the Panthers over the Cardinals. Edgerrin James will never run as well as he did last week ever again. He screws me in fantasy every year and I'm still angry about it.

Keep track of all of the game stats at NFL.com.

Who ya got?

Titans>Ravens
Panthers>Cards

Never go with a rookie QB in the playoffs.

After redeeming themselves from a horrible finish to the season with a 1st round win the Cards will show once again who they really are. I see Matty Leinert making an appearance in this game.

Buzzsaw moves on

Titans over Ravens in a slop fest
Buzzsaw over Carolina in a shootout

Proud to be a part of the Conference of Champions and their complete bowl season domination.

Jake Delhomme > Kurt Warner

Delhomme’s got the 3rd best QB rating in the playoffs in NFL history….

I'm just hoping for a good game

Last week was chock full of excellent football.

Two great RB’s vs. two great WR’s… solid D’s and solid QB’s.

Titans and Panthers

Titans gotta win by more than 3.

If they do, the next round of beer gloves will be on me.

Bad News For Cardinals

What’s the worst thing that could happen to the Cardinals (other than playing away from home)?

Rain.

Ravens season ticket holder since the begining…I saw your open thread on the home page and thought i’d see what the rest of the country thinks…I see Titans favored here. it will be a good one but their center being out id HUGE. Flacco is no longer a Rookie having completed a full regular season. this is all gravy for us because we never expected to be in the post season. i think we can pull it off..we have better mudders.

From the outside looking in

Both teams can and should stop the run which would put the game in the QB’s hands.

Collins v. Flacco. It’s tough to go against the veteran.

CBS Pre-game show

James Brown is interviewing Pacman and taking it to him! This is good. Pacman’s lawyer has to step in and help make some sense of what Pacman is saying.

Ravens

I hate that team so much they should be in the AFC West.

by FrankPitts on Jan 10, 2009 3:17 PM CST reply actions

Funny you should say that

Tennessee fans are about the same. You’d think we were in the AFC North as much a rivalry as we have with the Ravens and Steelers.

Keep talking guys...I picked the upsets today...both Baltimore and Arizona.

…it’s pretty early to bag on Warner

Bill Parcell’s: "You are what your record says you are."

Thigpen WILL NOT be the Chiefs starting QB next year IMO. He can compete for the job and should be 2nd or 3rd string.

Yeah...I'm gonna say it first

IF Arizona wins this game…than I’m going to be all for the supermarket stocking boy to be in the HOF. They friggin have no run (well, not a great run that scares defenses). He stands in the shotgun all by himself that screams PASS and they still make yardage.

If he wins this game, 2 SB’s and this season of getting as far as they did…he’s a HOF caliber QB.

I am pulling for Warner

Edge is looking good as well. This game without Boldin? If they win this they have a shot at the NFC championship at home if Philly wins.

Lovin the Cards Game

But I linda think the Ravens got a second chance on the delay of game call that the refs missed.

HA HA

He could have returned that

Warner's Geritol must be wearing off

He is going to need a hip replacement after this game

by Idahochief on Jan 10, 2009 9:10 PM CST reply actions

They need to go back to running

In the first half that is what was opening things up.

I would say this game is over

only because Carolina is sucking and they don’t have an explosive enough offense to come from 4 possessions down.

I hope Philly pulls it off tomorrow

How freaking weird would it be for the NFC championship to go through Arizona?

Away teams win on Sat. and Home teams on Sunday

That’s is/was my prediction for this weekend….and the funny thing is that the AWAY teams won last Sat. and the home teams won last Sunday.
I think the games are rigged ;)

The stands with empty seats in the beginning of the 4th quarter at Carolina

…kind of gave me deja vu of Arrowhead.

well as a Cardinals fan, I’m pretty darn happy with the results of yesterday’s game. :) Pulling for the Eagles to win today so Cards don’t have to travel to frigid NY next week
