Brady being injured is THE story out of this game

whether we like it or not.

Let’s face it. A QB who passed for 50 TDs last season getting injured is much more newsworthy than a third year QB with seven starts getting hurt.

Note to Peter King

Tom Brady is not the messiah.

The League does not “need” Tom Brady.

There are other players and other teams.

Blame my wife!

Yeah--like Brett Favre

and the New Jersey Favres. King’s already all over that one.

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

Yeah, they kinda need Brady

A Boston or New York team being successful is the best thing that can happen to a sport.

Bowe

Yeah, but Brodie would have been a hero if Bowe didn’t drop those 5 passes. I wonder if Parker rubbed off on him.

Bowe

Dropped the TD pass from Huard, not Croyle so it’s not like he was a lot better once the QBs changed…he was terrible all around yesterday. Croyle, on the other hand, couldn’t even get the team in position to have a TD pass for Bowe to drop.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

But Brodie would have been a hero if...

if Bowe didn’t drop passes…
if he didn’t throw at peoples ankles…
if he had a decent O-line…
if he was less fragile than a teenage girls emotions…

The dude is running out of if’s. In their first NFL starts Flaco and Matt F’ing Ryan have more career wins than Brodie. Que the countdown to Tebow.

Yep

There’s always an excuse. Let’s not be afraid to admit that this isn’t the guy!

Give him the season. But if he continues to play like he has then we need to cut him off and not drag this thing out.

"if he didn’t throw at peoples ankles…"

the other points were valid…but some of the throws Croyle made yesterday were impressive (or at least they would have been if Bowe hadn’t dropped them)…specifically the play where Croyle had to roll out to the right, then and himself some more time, then he threw off his back foot and threaded the ball through double coverage to hit Bowe in the hands…and we know what happened then.

Heh
if he wasn’t less fragile than a teenage girls emotions

That one made me laugh really hard. Good one HIV. :)

I wanna believe in Croyle...

But dude the guy is starting to strike me as frail….even if he is a star QB in the making (BIG IF) he’s gotta stay on the field in order to prove it. If he’s not making mistakes he’s hurt….Man I wanna believe he’s the future, but he’s gotta stay healthy.

Bowe….is this the start of the sophmore slup? the football kept bouncing off your hands man. your suppose to be our #1, didn’t play like one today. And what about Darling? Almost tied the game for us. Surprised that Bowe kept getting dialed up on the goal line on the fourth quarter. Jump Ball? what didn’t Tony have a shot on the outside, one on one?

Linebackers

Not too many teams have linebackers capable of sticking with Gonzalez but the Patriots are one of them.

Stupid commentators

The pass that hit Bowe in the face and they say it is defended by Hobbs. Since when is falling to the ground flailing considered a viable covering scheme.
