Throw More on 1st Down Herm!!!
Herm needs to tell his O coordinator to throw more on first down. The Pats Defense is looking for LJ everytime on 1st down. Open up the running game by throwing on first down to get those linebackers to back off some. Come on Herm, I know your a smash mouth chicago style football player but this team went 16 and 0 last year. Mix it up. They are stuffing the run everytime on 1st down and LJ can't get into a rhythm. With 2 turnovers there's no way we should be down by 4 in the 2nd half.

LUCKY
You know we are lucky that we are still in this game… on the 5 and they get 3 chances. TERRIBLE time management. If we can’t convert this 3rd and and goal on the 5 we aren’t going to be a contender this year.

Throw the ball
I would throw the ball much more often as that what accounts for yardage but Herms far too conservative to do so. I suppose we only have so many receiving options you don’t want to exist them. But after todays performance on the ground I’m much more receptive to the idea of opening up the backfield to committee, like all other teams in the league are doing such as NE. Spread the ball to other two backs more often and lighten Larry’s load so to speak. I know that if you fork over enough money you want playing time and performance in return from a player but I forsee us being more of an offensive threat switching it up and utilizing Charles speed more often
I wonder at which point in the season do we begin discussing opening up the QB competition? I know Croyle is their boy and they want to do everything to nurture his development but at what point do you make the switch when its proven your backup moves the ball more effectively?
When everyone is healthy, I’m anxious to see what are other receivers can offer (namely Franklin)

Charles spread out?
I know thats a WILD option for the ULTRA conservative game calling of Herm and co….but Charles can run world class speed. I would be surprised if a linebacker can hang with this guy if they went 2-back set then split Charles into the slot in motion, then let Charles blister by the coverage on the fly. Charles ran a 10.23 100m – are you KIDDING me? He ran a 4.38 40 at the combine , yeah let’s just let him mull around in the backfield. Kill me now…
