That turnover ratio
Is pretty amazing, especially considering how awful Thigpen was.
That’s a big reason why those Martyball teams won so much, they were nearly always at the top of the league in turnover ratio.

Definitely a big reason
We beat the Broncos. If you are not going to have a Vermeil attack all game offense, you need to control the ball and get some big plays. After 4 games we are plus, which I agree is pretty amazing considering how badly we played those 2 games.
