Not quite sure how to get rid of that white
I’ve messed around with it. Guess we’ll have to live with it until Chris gets back.
What jumps out at me
is how many times we’ve ran up the gut. Three times as much as anywhere else. It looks like we should be trying to run off tackle more. Then again, usually when we’ve been trying that this season LJ gets hit as he’s handed the ball.
The truly remarkable thing that jumps out at me....
….is that there are actually 2 teams out there that run up the middle even more than the Chiefs!! Wow!
I guess it’s because it’s hard to run very many plays when you go 3-and-out so often.
Need more deep passes on the right
I notice that we are apparently a lot more successful going deep on the right side. I know we have not had any 70 yard receptions on that side so it looks like we have connected on most of those 4 passes. Unless the pass to Darling is being considered in that category, but if that is the case then who ever decides these stats needs to fix them becaus that was a short pass to the right that went for a long gain.
With such a small sample size it is hard to say why, but I would love to figure out why that side is successful but the left side is not. Also who caught those passes, and again I hope that is not including teh Darling long reception.

That Big Mac(Intosh) is a better run blocker than a pass blocker. I guess those hollow blocks that he has for feet help when he’s paving the way for LJ. Maybe…???…the coaching staff know a little bit more than we think…. :-)
But if I remember it right, it was Tony’s block that spung LJ loose for that mighty big gain. Which might also have inflated those averages on the right side. Big Mac just sealed the corner.
Nice numbers PrimeTime…..
Stats are good and bad
because they can be so misleading. The one thing that I take from this is that we are a better running team than I thought. Considering that was a huge goal of our team, I would chalk us up for another “improved” over last year.
