Herm Edwards said during a halftime radio interview that left tackle Branden Albert, who was carted off the field late in the second quarter, has a hyperextended right elbow.
Edwards said he didn't think the injury is serious but that Albert probably wouldn't return to the lineup Sunday.

It May Be Bad
Herm’s shady about injuries in the same way that Tony Dungy is. The article cited was also an in-game update, so it’s possible we’ll hear more about it this week. Key is whether or not he practices.

There's a lot of things that could be involved with it
That it was hyperextended is what happened to it, its not an injury.
By being hyperextended, it could be dislocated, it could be sprained, it could have torn tendons, it could have broken bones.
The way he was acting though, it sure didnt look good.
Herm Edwards Just Told The Star
Albert’s elbow is dislocated and is currently in a brace. No word on whether or not he’ll be playing next week.

Would Have Put Out A FanPost
But the article wasn’t any longer than what I’ve just written.

Thanks, UC
Dislocated….that’s over 6 weeks I think.

Depends On The Severity And How Much Damage Was Done
Trev Alberts had problems with his elbows too. So we’ll just have to wait and see.

Yeah!
I was watching the game at my Donkey friend and he was trying to get me worried about Albert leaving the field. I told him with full confidence that Taylor would slide in and produce. Taylor played. Donkey friend kept muttering, “I’m shocked!” Man it was nice to have a win while watching the game in his house.
