Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

Chiefs vs. Broncos

Here's a little prediction of the game for all you faithful chiefs:

1st quarter: Opening drive for the chiefs Huard throws 6 for 6 and 10 yards, while johnson gets 5 carries for 5 yards and claims he needs more carries to get on a roll.  (15 yards cant make 11 plays you say? Not for the CHIEFS!) We punt is away and coffin corner them at their two yard line.      Donkeys line up but there are too many running backs, they all claim to be equally good.  This causes confusion and a few delay of game penalties.  Shanahan takes out all the backs and receivers except marshall but cutler still throws a 98 yard touchdown on the first play.  The cheifs get it back and somehow manage to make it down the field with the same running play in varying directions with 4 different runnning backs. We kick a field goal and its 7-3.

2nd quarter: Broncos get the ball back but cutlers diabetes kicks in and leaves the game have some sugar and take a piss. Patrick Ramsey comes in and the offense is confused once more. They stall and give it back to the chiefs.  Since there was marginal success from last drive we decide to run the same play as before over and over again, finally at midfield, they catch on and stuff us.  Colquitt boots it all the way into the stands and the refs feel bad for having this guy kick so much everygame they give him a point just to make him feel like hes an important part of the team. The rest of the half is pretty boring, consisting of short pass then run then short pass then run then failed deep pass then run. We manage to score an extra field goal and tie it up to end the half 7-7.

3rd quarter: Cutler is back in but as soon as hes steps onto the field he runs back off for more treatment.  After a couple plays hes back on but his vision is a bit blurry and brandon flowers picks it off for six.  Hes so unprepared for this touchdown and the ref mixes up his confusion with an inappropriate victory dance and fines and penalizes him on the spot.  Broncos get the ball back and storm down the field for a touchdown to scheffler.  When the chiefs get the ball back herm switches up the quarterbacks and puts in thigpen but the crowd boos him off, so he then puts in hagans which results in more boos so he invites anyone from the stands to come play.  A 5'10 250 lbs security guard jumps onto the field and takes control.  Amazingly he hands off the ball nicely and LJ gets another 10 carries to end the quarter 14-14.

4th quarter: Herm finally sees that he needs to put huard back in which results in a soft lob into the endzone to Bowe.  It goes of the heads of three defenders and then onto Bowes sure hands.  We're winning!! But as soon as we kickoff, another cutler drive results in a touchdown. Herm starts to get angry and throws in another pass play to our six play repatoire to mix it up a bit. It works and we make it down to the redzone but stall and a field goal puts us up by three.  Twominute drill for the donkey offense and with a few plays manage to our red zone. That NEVER happens but they cant seem to put it in for the score.  all ready to tie it up shanahan actually ices his own kicker by accident.  As the elam kicks for the tie, carl peterson flies out of nowhere to sacrifice his body for the win.  It seems that he catapulted himself in front of the kick from the press box and blocks the kick! Mike Carey is not that easily confounded so he ejects peterson from the game but says that the clock has run out and the chiefs have won!!! 24-21

HA!

My favorite part is, no doubt, Colquitt earning the Chefs a point out of pure badassness (hard to believe that’s how I’m describing a PUNTER, but he’s crazy good at his job), mixed w/ a little ref sympathy.

Colquitt

He is a prodigy, isn’t he? Outstanding punter…so far he’s definitely justified his relatively high draft position.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

The Game

Great post! Only difference is Huard won’t last the first quarter. Thigpen won’t be allowed in the game by the officials for lack of proof he is a pro player. Herm snatches peterson off the side line inserts him as QB saying, how you like big mack as a right tackle now sucker!

I think they should

Put Herm in at QB, or RB, and let him get hit a few times, the gameplan will change. HIS r2p2 will no longer work in his eyes!
