If you'd like a diversion from a miserable season...
... check this out. I would equate the aggregation of evil in this article to Emperor Palpatine marrying a storm trooper (albeit, an attractive female storm trooper). Leave it to Elway to ditch the woman who bore his children for this plastic beauty from the Barrio by the Bay.
I must say, it feels good to have SOMETHING to rag on the Broncos about. This will keep me smiling until about 5 minutes after kickoff on Sunday.

Wait
This may be some hair brained scheme by Al Davis to create the next Raider Quarterback. Check the pre-nup to see if there is anything about the children staying with “Uncle Al” .
Could happen.

Wouldn't It Be More Like
Boba Fett marrying a female stormtrooper? Palpatine and a stormtrooper would both be Raiders in the scenario so you’d have to have somebody from outside marrying in and Boba Fett was always screwing up the good guys’ (rebellion/Chiefs) plans.. Emperor Palpatine in this scenario would be Al Davis. Darth Vader would be Jon Gruden (the lone competent employee in Palpatine’s organization who eventually turned on his old master).

However
I always respected Boba Fett because he was good at what he did and he had style, so kudos to John “Boba” Elway on his engagement and I hope that things work out well for him.

That is some serious Star Wars Chronology!
And exactly, Boba Fett was the proto-typical stormtrooper. Davis is making a clone army of Elways!

It Works On So Many Levels
I know my Star Wars analogies. :)

Darth "Chucky" Vader
is quite the mental image too!

But An Apt One
Competent employee turns on his old employer and immediately redeems himself (by winning a Super Bowl once he breaks with the Evil Empire). :)

Tuck rule
Without that call, the Raiders are in the Super Bowl (probably lose though) and the Pats aren’t the Pats.

Take a few lucky bounces,
the tuck rule, and a few clutch kicks and the Pats are the Bills. But I digress.,

How did I get started on that?
I suppose the Chucky losing the Tuck Rule game then moving to Tampa and winning a SB.
