Upcoming week

Is it too early to say there is no chance for the chiefs to 1-2 by beating the impressive Broncos even tho its in Arrowhead.  Even with the ever boring Huard in and he gets us a td or two, our secondary is gonna get lit up by Cutler and company including an impressive Marshall.  If there is any possible way to pull out a win this week I would certainly like to hear it.....

Haha, it's all good.

I think we have a chance though. Their defense isn’t all that good, so maybe our offense can get some good things started. Plus now that Carr is starting, hopefully we can play some man-to-man and keep them from lighting up the scoreboard. I expect a good game.

I like the optimism

Any given sunday right? i just think its the wrong game to try and get rolling. No one on our team can cover Marshall and with edwards gone it doesnt help. Its also coaching at this point. If herm or whoever is the one calling plays decides to actually step outside of the pee wee football style then it could help keep it close.

Any Given Sunday

We are quickly proving that theory false. They will torch us on offense but I guess if you’re looking for a tiny, inkling of a hole on their team then it’s definitely the defense. Unfortunately, our strong suit isn’t out offense.

Run LJ and run him hard.

The best way to win this one

is to play the offensive system we are “built to play” as Herm says. We’ll have to grind out the clock with efficient running and keep the offense off the field. It can be done and we’ve showing (at least in the 1st Q) that we can hold our own against a high powered offense. Its the run first oriented teams that kill us right now.

I give us a chance but Denver is just too powerful right now. Donkeys 28 – Chiefs 10. This with a 7-3 lead at halftime.
