If the call in the San Diego vs Denver game that cost the Chargers the game wasn’t enough, the Donkeys are at it again. If you look at the photo below you can see that Denver LB Jamie Winborn is clearly lined up in the neutral zone when the Saints snapped the ball.

Call
Chiefs got a bad call as well. On the Falcons 70 yard TD pass at the end of the 1st qtr., the right tackle of the Falcons – #77 Tyson Clabo – clearly jumped back before the snap. A TIVO replay shows he jumped 2/10ths of second before the sanp. Clearly visible with a naked eye. This was a big boost for the Falcons.
Also, why Herm did not challenge the Larry Johnson stretch into the end zone on 4th down with 4 minutes left in the game is beyond me. The tip of the ball broke the plane before Johnson hit the ground. A replay should should that Johnson was on top of a Falcon defender. His arm hit did the ground, however, I’m not sure if your arm hitting the ground constitutes a player being deemed down. It wasn’t an obvious overrule, but they should have at least challenged the call.
Most every NFL game has 3-4 turning points that determine the outcome. Eith Novak’s missed FG a series or two earlier and if both of the previous TD plays are reversed, then you havea tied ballgame in the 4th.
