It became official Monday.
Somewhere, deep in the statistical dungeon where the numbers get crunched each week, the hard drives were set in motion and the 3 and the 2 came spitting out right next to the Broncos.
As in 32.
As in last.
The Broncos, a 3-0 touchdown factory, are now last in the NFL in pass defense. And they are 30th in defense overall.

Whoop-dee-doo
Who are we going to have throw the ball to take advantage of this? Dick Curl?
have you seen my baseball?
I think that's a factor
of all the points they’ve been scoring early and that most teams need to pass to keep up with them. Maybe not all because their safeties are horrible and Bly is overrated but a maybe a little.
This might make a difference
if Herm Edwards weren’t so opposed to the very existence of the forward pass.
