Gannon all the way!
Need some o-lineman up there, where is Shields, Grunny, Roaf, Szott, and on and on?

Hey,
where’s the “All of the above” option?
Or I guess it could be “most of the above”, since we don’t need Green, Gannon and Dawson all at the same time. Of course, if we stick them behind the current O-line, we’d need all three before the game was over.
by Seth_C on Sep 21, 2008 10:49 AM CDT 0 recs
Ha!
True, true. None of those QBs is surviving behind our line.

Option
What’s the over/under for options plays today? I say 5.
by ashleylat on Sep 21, 2008 10:58 AM CDT 0 recs
Under
Herm wants to keep the element of surprise in his offense.
Wow, I can’t believe I just typed that.

Surprise
Maybe he should punt on 3rd downs. That would be a surprise.

Well not since you just
spoiled it. Now Herm and Chan are gonna have to try to come up with some plays to run on 3rd down!

If things start going south,
Just punt on first down, it could be like a long pass play!
by Eric Allen on Sep 21, 2008 11:03 AM CDT 0 recs
Interesting...
especially since Colquitt is the MVP of the team.
And, after all, shouldn’t we be playing our best players as much as possible?

I've got a hunch we'll see Huard too,
but it’ll be because we had to scrape Bones off the field.

Will it take a QB death
To break that continuity? Bad joke, but seriously!

Chris, over on The Falcoholic’s gameday thread:
And here’s to no injuries. Or dogs harmed during the filming of this game.
Classic!

Haven't finished my breakfast yet
Ok, so I had a lie in this morning. The cat even obliged by not bothering me too much. So I think I need to finish my coffee before moving on to the bottles of Brooklyn Lager in the fridge.
I have to admit, I’m too embarrassed after last week to go out in public wearing a Chiefs top so I’m staying in.

i have a feeling teams are going to move their best rusher to the right side all year….just like the raiders did last week w/ burgess and now the falcons are doing w/ abraham

Whenever I think about the Falcons...
I can’t help but think about our game with them in 2004 where we scored EIGHT RUSHING TD’S! I don’t even think Priest Holmes saw the field for a single play in the 2nd half we were killing them so badly.
Atlanta Falcons 10 at Kansas City Chiefs 56

this offense is an embarassment
and it’s getting repetitive to keep saying that every week that herm edwards is our coach

And the game will be 6 hours long…
