Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

Damion McIntosh

What gives? Thirty-one year old.

What the f*ck? Someone tell me why he's so bad, and also why he's still in the lineup.

Let's hear it.

We hear his name mentioned, but there's no highlight of it. I watched the Raiders game, and he was getting beat repeatedly.

I need to fulfill a word limit, and I will do less of this in the future. For now, though, contemplate this guy and his career. How did he even get here?

Because he didn't do anything to lose his starting job last year.

And it’s not fair to someone who did everything that was asked of him to have to sit on the bench in favor of a rookie, so we tried to stick him over on the right side. Not working out so far… but nobody else we have would necessarily be better.

Arrowhead Addict

Has started calling him “McSack”.

I like that nickname and I think that it should become a habit here. Jeez, he’s rotten at his job.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

Every veteran goes through the same thing eventually

they just cannot play at the level they once did. Its not Albert’s fault that as a rookie he is better than McIntosh. And to be fair, just because you can play the left side doesn’t mean you can transition to the right. If there is a better prospect than Big Mac, then he should understand his role. (as a backup)

He wasn't always this bad

He was reported to have had big time problems w/ his knees prior to his arrival in K.C. He’s clearly struggling and continues to demonstrate a lack of lateral mobility. Our opposition has to see it also and will continue to run at him w/ outside speed. Good thing Brodie, Huard and Thigpen aren’t lefties.

Prior to his arrival in KC

Knee problems before he arrived. Only one person to blame then…

i read today that

the chiefs plan to replace him with a bozo the clown punching bag.

i don’t think that’s official yet, though

It's tricky enough

that it just may work.

I would also be fine with

a tree stump
a pile of priest holmes jerseys
either of herm’s daughters
or really anyone/anything else.

I can’t imagine any of them could be any worse.

I would rather

just throw a jersey out there filled with snakes. Then be all surprised when they come out.

“I don’t know what happened to him. But hey, they’re on our roster!”

Wouldn't the most clever name be

SackIntosh… that makes the most since.

McIntosh

has never played up to an inch of his touted talent level and should be relieved of his duties.

Chris Terry redux, anyone?

by Chris Thorman on Sep 17, 2008 8:07 AM CDT reply actions

Right now, Herb Taylor

would do no worse at RT – and crazily, Taylor might actually get better!

by PVChiefsfan on Sep 17, 2008 8:18 AM CDT up reply actions

So he IS terrible?

I wasn’t sure if it’s hoopla or what, but he didn’t look good when I saw him play.
