Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

Proof to me that Kelly Croyle has bigger cojones than Brodie.

I myself have a shoulder subplexus? Sorry, can't exactly remember how it's pronounced. Anyway, the shoulder comes out constantly. It hurts... Boo hoo. I have to take my ass to work construction everyday, ten years now. I got it racing motocross. Separation after separation, BUT I always finished the races. So.... Why is puny little Brodie wimping around on the side line? He is a puss. Check out this article from PFT.

ROETHLISBERGER HAD SEPARATED SHOULDER

Posted by Mike Florio on September 14, 2008, 8:23 p.m.

The Steelers disclosed this week that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a shoulder injury during the Week One romp over the Texans.

But the Steelers didn’t mention that Roethlisberger separated the shoulder.

Al Michaels of NBC mentioned the severity of the injury during the opening moments of NBC’s coverage of the game.

Roethlisberger, listed as probable in Friday’s injury report, will play on a windy night in Cleveland.  Thanks to the remnants of Ike, the breeze could gust up to 60 miles per hour later in the game.

Andrea Kremer of NBC reports that offensive coordinator Bruce Arians hasn’t altered his game plan as a result of Roethlisberger’s shoulder or Ike’s fading rage.  In fact, they plan to throw deep when the wind is at their backs.

Why is Brodie out? Seems like if Big Ben can do it for his millions, and I can do it for mere peanuts. His punk ass could go out there and stink it up like he always does. Seems to me, it's just his excuse not to go out and get embarrassed with the rest of the team, Way to go.

Not All Shoulder Separations Are The Same

There are different grades which allow different levels of functioning. The medical staff in Roethlisberger’s case (and in Eli Manning’s case last year) said that he can continue to play. In Croyle’s case they said he’s out for a month. While durability is an issue with Croyle, in his case it’s not a character question…it’s a physical durability question. We’re all only as good as the body we’re given, and some people’s bodies simply break more than others.

what does this have to do with the hotness that is kelly?

and you realize there are different degrees of seperation. the fact that you cant even spell your own condition makes me doubt your medical knowledge.

I am not a doctor.

However, at 16yrs old, I had separated my shoulder more times that you have probably gotten laid.

Maybe You Should Listen A Little More Than You Talk

I didn’t say you didn’t cite the source, I said that when you cite a source you need to link to it instead of reprinting it in its entirety because the material you’re reposting is copyrighted.

Citing the source means giving credit to the person who wrote it.

Had I copied it without the name of the author and where it came from then it’s an issue. It appears that you are just interested in arguing for the sake of arguing, Give it up.

Dumb Ass

Croyle seperated his throwing shoulder which means in excess of thirty times a game he needs to throw as hard as he can. his mechanics would be way off if he tried to play and in the nfl, that will fuck the whole team over.

I give up.

The entire point of the post is to show that other people function with the same injury. Fact is, that Brodie just doesn’t have what it takes. He isn’t any good, he is a strong armed qb. That’s it! No accuracy, no pocket presence, no field vision. And he damn sure isn’t sturdy. He is undersized, he knows that. He is injury prone because of it. He also knows that. Yet after being in the league 2 yrs and working on his 3rd. He has made very minimal efforts to change that. That being said, that calls into question his discipline, and his commitment to the team. You can’t lead a team, especially a young team if you have no discipline. It’s time to move on.

Not The Same Injury

The medical staff are the ones making the call, not Brodie Croyle. For the Steelers the medical staff said Roethlisberger can play, the Chiefs medical staff said Croyle couldn’t. If you want to second guess the decision, then go after the Chiefs’ medical staff but it’s not on Croyle that he’s not medically cleared to play.

ive never

ever

ever

heard someone call in to question Croyle’s character. A shot at his discipline and commitment is a shot at his character. I think that comment really highlights the fact that youre opinions are pretty stupid and should from now on be pretty much voided.

I mean, I say some retarded things but at least they somehow kinda make sense.

whatever

i think we just all need to agree that the chiefs are perennially fucked at qb

by KCchi on Sep 15, 2008 1:20 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I agree with him

Its pointless to argue about. We are stuck with him. Until Carl and or Herm is gone.

No

After coming back from this injury, If Croyle cannot stay healthy for the rest of this season and show some marked improvement, I truly believe the Chiefs will move on and draft a QB with a high pick or trade for a young QB. Croyle has only the remaining games of 2008 to prove that the Chiefs should continue to invest time and money into his development.
