Pats P.O.’ed Over Shirts Celebrating Brady Bruiser
I was over on Sports By Brooks site and saw this story.
And as you can imagine, certain members of the Pats aren’t too pleased with the tees. (That totally rhymes!)
From the KANSAS CITY STAR:
Patriots cornerback Ellis Hobbs told the Boston Globe he can’t believe people can be so thoughtless.
“It amazes me, shocks me every time,” said Hobbs. “It gets lower and lower. Where is it going to stop? But, it is what it is. We know what we do every day, we know how hard we work and at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what anyone else think.”

"Honestly, what non-Patriots fan among us didn’t feel a tinge of happiness when he hit the ground? Now that he’s out, every other team has a much greater chance at winning. If anything, that just goes to show you how much respect he deserves. Well, deserved."
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Happy or Not
I never like to see a player hurt, but I’m always happy to see an opposing player (especially a QB) shook up. My first thought is usually “I hope they’re OK – next week”.
Pollard was just doing his job
and some would argue he was going above and beyond with his effort to get to Brady, not the actual damage it caused.
100% Agree
but Pollard still seemed shook up, almost apologetic, when he talked about it afterwords. I hope he isn’t thinking about that the next time he bears down on another QB or receiver.
I Think He'll Be Fine
The shirts are completely tacky and inappropriate though. But Pats fans who whine about Pollard are also being cheap in their own right…seriously, Pollard obviously wasn’t trying to take out Brady’s knee, he was trying to make a tackle while being blocked. What was he supposed to do, give up on the play and let Brady throw the ball with no pressure? It’s unfortunate, but these things happen in the course of the game.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
