QB Richard Bartel
I heard a rumor that QB Richard Bartel (released from the Cowboys) will be visiting the Chiefs on Friday, Sep 12, 08. I believe we tried to sign him last year and he accepted a position with the Cowboys. Anyone heard any more about this. Any chance that he might replace Thigpen or end up on the practice squad. Is he or would he be an improvement at quarterback or just another project for us to waste money and time on? Commentrs?

Or, better yet,
a 3 QB system. Or even 4, until Brodie gets back – and then 5!
In fact, let’s just start collecting every single QB we can. Hilarity could ensue if we fielded an offense that had Damon Huard, Jeff Garcia, Jeff George, Vinny Testaverde, Tyler Thigpen, Ingle Martin and Richard Bartel on the field simultaneously. And, of course, Brodie for a couple of plays until he breaks a clavicle or something.

That sounds terrible
You would fit well on the Chiefs. A “Herm” guy like Jon McGraw but possibly even more talent.

Yeah, I know
what you meant. I was joking around more in terms of the Chiefs looking at a bunch of QBs, rather than joking around at you or your post.
In fact, an 8-man QB rotation would be interesting too. No one would EVER be able to guess which QB we’d throw out there.

Razor blade model
Maybe it’s the razor blade model, you can buy the team for cheap but they get you on the high cost of replacement QBs.
Gillette QBs now come with 5 blades and an aloe vera strip.

Sorry
I don’t know how to post links yet, but at the very bottom of this article it state’s this rumor is true: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/stories/091208dnspocowdate.103429f.html
I’ve never heard of the kid, but in football QB is the one of if not THE most important positions so having depth I consider a good thing. Especially with our group when I consider none to be proven performers with slight exception of Huard. Interesting to hear what develops
(Still wish we would have signed Simms) ; ^ )

There's Info About Him On The Thread On Chris' Post.
