Chiefs Release LB Weston Dacus and CB Tyron Brackenridge
In order to make room on the roster for waiver wire signings LB Erik Walden and G Brian De La Puente, Weston Dacus and Tyron Brackenridge were released.
Expect the Chiefs to fill up their practice squad within the next day or so. International player Aden Durde sits on there now and he does not count towards the eight player practice squad roster.

Chad Jackson wasn’t good enough to make the Patriots but he may very well be good enough to make the Chiefs roster.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
If my memory serves me right
I believe Tyron Brackenridge played quiet a bit in the defense last year. I also remember him returning a fumble for a TD. So we have obviously upgraded many spots from last year considering many guys who played considerable roles are now gone.
He did play some nickel
and the TD return was a really lucky bounce…the ball jumped into his hands without him even breaking stride
