Glenn Dorsey's knee injury isn't as bad as the Chiefs initially feared.
Their top draft pick has a sprained knee and won't play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Bears in Chicago. But they are hopeful he could play in the following game on Aug. 16 against Arizona at Arrowhead Stadium.

Additionally
Jason at Arrowhead Addict (not an official AA rep) said they heard from another KC fan that was at River Falls relate this:
“he was 4 feet from dorsey on the table. said that the head trainer ran the knee through the paces everything felt fine then asked where it hurt. GD said inside trainer put thumb and pushed GD said ouch, trainer eyes wide like "thats all there is" and said you tweaked your knee. then GD WALKED to the locker room.”
Second hand information, so take it for what its worth, but it sounds like Dorsey may take a week or so off and be ready to go for the second preseason game, so that sounds very good.
