Handing over the Reigns

Ah, up early on a Sunday morning. Few things are better than this.

I'm sitting on a front porch in Austin, TX, right now, with a view of the University of Texas campus clock tower in front of me. The air is a bit cool (82 anyway, which is considered cool around here lately), the breeze is blowing and I've got some good coffee next me.

Life is pretty good, no?

As you may or may not know, I'm heading out tomorrow morning for business to the Far East - India. I'll be gone two weeks and arrive back a few days after the Chiefs' second preseason game against the Cardinals.

Primetime and others have graciously agreed to take over the site for me while I'm gone. I really have no worries about this. Things tend to actually get better when I'm gone and I'm not sure why. Let's not think about that, alright?

Please show Primetime and the crew the same respect you show me. I know you will. Like I said, I'm not worried.

If for some reason you absolutely need to read my blogging, I will be blogging the entire India trip in my patented style. You can read it here.

Primetime has the reigns now and I wish him the best of luck. Not that he'll need it. I'll be checking in as best I can.

As you can probably tell by the mistakes I’ve made in the last couple of weeks (Emmitt Smith? You have to be kidding. How did I do that??), things have gotten increasingly more hectic and my time for AP has dwindled.

I’m so excited for the trip and excited to get back to a normal AP schedule too when I return.
