Sacking Brady
"The good news for the Patriots is that Tom Brady’s foot injury is not believed to be serious, even though an official diagnosis has not been made public. In fact, we hear that coach Bill Belichick’s decision to keep him out of preseason games is as much a function of concern over the injury-marred offensive line's ability to keep him erect as it is his health."
Sounds like the Pat's line is a little iffy.
Can our young D-line get to Brady and plant him on his ass? A lot? What exotic blitzes does Gun have in store? Is there hope?
BTW, totally looking past the Lambs and to week 1.

Overlooking the Lambs, eh?
Dangerous. Tonight is a trap game then. I just hope we got enough game planning done for tonight’s game, what with the three-way Punt, Pass and Kick competition going on at the practice field this week and luncheon speeches to make. :)

YES
Bellichick’s all-seeing eye is watching you fools. Our game planning is this: outplay them. I count on no creativity. I just pray we ARE capable of purely outplaying St. Louis.

I think
I think we will see things in the game against the Pats offensively speaking that we have no clue the Chiefs can do. I sincerely believe they are holding out plays in an effort to have an element of surprise against the Pats.
Is that a good idea holding things out instead of practicing them in preseason? No, probably not. But I think they are gambling that the morale bump for this young team of knocking off the best team in the NFL would be worth the risk.
Not that its going to happen. But still, probably worth the gamble.

I salivated just a little when I read that.

It's not going to happen
but its like paying $10 for a ticket for a $200 million lottery prize. It’s worth a shot. :D

On the plus side
Once our offense goes 3 and out our defense will be straight back out there to see if they can indeed sack Mr Brady.
Blame my wife!

Actually, I could see it being a shootout
and that is exactly what we don’t want. Their offense is their strength, our defense is ours (if we have a strength =) )

Wait.
How exactly are we going to get into a shootout? We don’t bring guns. We bring slingshots, a can of coke and some poprocks. The shootout this will be reminiscent of is Little Big Horn.

Kansas City over the Pats!
I will be the first to say that we will shock the league and walk away with a “W” Why? you ask. well for one they are not the same team as last year. The chemistry of this team has not been there ever since they lost the Superbowl which they should have won. Now this pre- season they have been just as bad and unpredictable as us, so with that been said we will beat the pats at foxboro and come home with a 1-0 record and woop on the Raiders….Who’s with me…..

I especially like that last part!
I agree that the Patriots aren’t going to be the same team they were last year. I don’t see them going undefeated in the regular season again. Thats kind of an all stars aligned thing. But they still should put a whippin on the Chiefs. Unless they’re looking past us that is.
