Defensive tackle Maurice Murray, offensive tackle Ken Shackleford and defensive end Jonal Saint-Dic were let go Tuesday, the first day the NFL requires rosters be trimmed to get down to 75 players. Receiver Kevin Robinson, who's missed the entire preseason with a knee injury, was moved to the injured list and won't count against the Chiefs' roster.
The Chiefs have to make one more cut today, and it will be one of the team's three kickers. Jay Feely, Nick Novak and Connor Barth left the Chiefs' kickoff luncheon early Tuesday to begin kicking, one of those players' final audition to make the team.

Octavien
Survives another round…
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
C'mon...
Can you really can that a “round?” :) A good game of musical chairs cuts more people than that.
As Lanier alluded to in another thread, it’s surprising that Feely didn’t stay to try out at LB.
(okay…although Hoyte did bite the dust.)
Big game for Octavien Thursday.
He'll step up...
Although I think Feely was a keeper at LB, he’s actually made a couple of nice open field tackles in his day =)
Gap control problems
If he can’t get a football in the gap between the two big fiberglass poles, then I suppose he could have gap control problems at LB now that I think about it. Open field tackles aside…
