Rookie receiver Will Franklin will miss the beginning of the season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery late this week. He hurt his right knee Thursday during the Chiefs' final practice of the week.
The Chiefs have not yet revealed the specific injury, but Franklin is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

it is clearly to early to make any sort of claim, but eventually this draft may be looked upon as really rather poor – and will reflect badly on herm, bill, and carl.
starting to seem that they drafted guys with the physical talent but who lacked the physical endurance to play at this league.
obviously, nobody will know for some time whether this holds true, but it gets harder and harder to think this is just dumb luck…I continue to support herm, but with bated breath.

At least
it’s 2-4 weeks instead of 2-4 months.
I thought Webb played well vs. Miami… and I still really like Price. I won’t be upset with the following.
1. Bowe
2. Webb
3. Darling
4. Price
5. mystery meat
Until Franklin returns healthy. I went ahead and bumped Darling because I still don’t think he’s done anything all preseason. Maybe playing in the slot and off the line will allow him to use his speed better (i.e. not getting jammed at the line).
