Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Q: What do you think about the weather? Are you afraid a hurricane will come through Miami?

CROYLE: "I didn’t know anything about that. Thanks for bringing it up though."

LSU

Didn’t realize Niswanger was from LSU, too. Along with Bowe and Dorsey.
(Kuale, also, but not sure he’ll be around.)

And…Brodie’s ability to lead is growing on me. I’m hopeful.

Niswanger

I liked the comments from Croyle on Niswanger. This guy is super smart, and that is a great attribute to have in a center. I also like the mention that he’s probably only made one mental mistake all camp+preseason… that’s pretty impressive for a guy who is about to be a full time starter for the first time in his career. I think he will be a strong part of this O-line for years to come.

Gotta love those LSU boys.

At least Brodie

Does not have to worry Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, and a hurricane!

If my short memory serves me correctly

Didnt the Chiefs play at Miami on a Friday night because of a hurricane a few years ago? And we won…

Yes Chiefs 30-20!

Priest and LJ each nearly had 100 yards. I remember Priest taking off on a long run, and he had his head bobbin like he was a steam train gaining momentum.

I remember that game

I was visiting my brother out of town and was worried about not being able to see the game on Sunday. Then the hurricane came and they moved it up to primetime.

And still didn’t play the game nationally. Think we went to a bar to watch it – maybe that’s why I don’t remember it.

Yessir

and I was pissed off because NFL Sunday Ticket didn’t cover the reschedule, and every sports bar in my area suffered the same issue. It was one of the few Chiefs games I have missed in the past 4 years.
