The Chiefs are not as bad as many people think.
This team is on the way up. After finishing 4-12 last season, the Chiefs' brass tore up the roster and became dedicated to a youth movement. The Chiefs don't plan to sign anyone older than 30 and have just a dozen players with six or more years of NFL experience.
Things may be tough in the short term for this team that plans to use eight or nine rookies in significant roles this season. But the Chiefs are moving up. They will not go backwards.

finally
Somebody is recognizing this. I am sick of people judging our team without thinking why last year was bad to begin with. As has been stated many times on this site nearly everything that caused us to lose the last 9 games of the season have been or are in the process of being fixed. New Coordinator (Competent), L.J. back from injury and a renovated O-Line…
none of these “analysts” (Florio, Schrager, etc.) are actually looking at these things…

I still think we are going to surprise people.

I think going into the NE game we are coming in with absolutely nothing to lose and I think we will play like it too…We seem to be putting together the packages necessary to blitz the hell out of brady…should be fun to watch…
