KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANTASY DEPTH CHART
Key:
PTR= Position Tier Rank. This is the tier level where the player should be slotted in drafts.
1 = Elite Player
2 = Solid Performer
3 = Backend starter/Bench fill-in
4 = Roster filler or long-term prospect
0 = No value
ITR = In The Rotation
PB = Position Battle
S = Starter
QB PTR
Brodie Croyle - S 3
Damon Huard 4
Tyler Thigpen 0
Summary: The Chiefs organization has wanted to instill Croyle as the starter since last season, but he has failed to take advantage of the opportunity. He was unimpressive as the starter in 2007, posting just 6 TDs with 6 INTs, with a 70% QB rating. Damon Huard is not the answer either, as he was inconsistent and erratic in his starts (11 TDs, 13 INTS). Croyle needs to step up big this season or else the Chiefs will look for other options. He has weapons in Bowe and Gonzalez, and for that alone he can be considered as a backend starter on you bench, possibly used when your main QB is on the bye. No need to worry about him being taken early, as he'll be drafted in the final quarter of the 32 starting QBs.

Damon Huard
Not they answer?! Just because he had a rocky start, look @ what he can do.. After Trent Green went down…? I saw it.. Did you miss it? Lets go way back when Dan Marino was retiring from Miami he told them about Damon and what he could do.. Your telling me Dan was wrong? Brodie is a wanna-be Brett Favre Gunslinger that throws INTs like non other… This season won’t be nothing with Brodie in there…

Huard or Croyle
It’s not like I think Croyle is the next Favre. Huard threw more interceptions than TDs, so it’s hard to tell why you like him more than Croyle. It’s going to be a tough season with either one. Speaking of Favre, what do you think about him in red and gold?
