Bowe & Croyle - He's a little bit country...
Saw this funny quote from D-Bowe at the UWRF site:
After practice, Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe joked with reporters about rooming with quarterback Brodie Croyle. “Brodie is old school. I know he is young but he is the old school type.” Bowe went on to talk about how he is trying to get Croyle to like hip-hop music. When asked if he would listen to Croyle’s country music Bowe said, “I would listen to it. At the very least I would give it a shot and learn the lyrics.” He is still waiting for Croyle’s wife to mail them some country/rock music. Near the end of the interview, Bowe said that tomorrow night will be just a little preview of what to expect this upcoming year.
Anyone else think it was a great idea to have Brodie and D-Bowe rooming together? Wonder how much better Brodie would be if D-Bowe could add a little more funk to his step. hrmmmmmmmmm

I think
its great for Brodie and D-Bowe to room together your talking about our QB and our #1 WR they need to gel and have a good relationship, and along with play time this will help too…dont get me wrong i love T.G. but hes prob. going to be gone in the next few years and i think its only best if Brodie and Bowe get to know each other…..i cant wait to see them play this year!! I love Bowe and Croyle both!!!!!!!
A TE should NEVER be the top receiver on your team
I know he’s a Hall of Famer and the best player on the team, but from a purely philosophical standpoint, if your TE is the top receiver on your team theres something wrong. Brodie and Bowe need to get that strong relationship together. Tony will be there when they need him.
I wouldn't say "NEVER"
Didn’t we have the best offense in the league with a TE as our top receiver? Didn’t the Ravens win the Super Bowl with Todd Heap as their leading receiver? And I am sure that Gates has been the Bolts #1 guy a few years.
Exceptions to the rule
I agree with DJ since he mentioned from a football philosophy perspective. Nobody plans to have their TE be the #1 receiver.

You think maybe all 5 of the starting Offensive Line are in ths same room?
It would have to be a big room!...LOL
LOL!
They would either bond or completely hate each other by the end of camp.
And yes, that would have to be one big room… maybe they could open up the gym for them. lol..
