Peterson is the King....at least for now

Let me start by saying this guy has screwed up so many times.....I still don't like him, but, The "King" has done everything asked of him and has done his job to be exact.  He was apart of one of the best drafts I have ever witnessed in my 18 years of life. He then goes on to get every single person that needed to be in camp on time in! He shelled out the money and is committed to building a young and talented team. for a very long time, this man has been a royal joker, but today, today he is the King of an up and coming Kingdom!

Thank you

Agreed that he did a great job

Contrary to what you may believe, Peterson was an outstanding GM his first ten years in KC. He brought the franchise out of the doldrums and into perennial playoff squads. The last ten years, however, have been a bit difficult to say the least.

The last 10 years

Completely agree with you Primetime.

I think the last 10 years have been down hill because they were so close to making it to the Super Bowl every year the first 10 that they were scratching and scraping every year trying to get that one last piece. He just did that for way too long and the perception came around that we were happy with mediocrity.

Regardless, the team he is building now will probably not be reaping the benefits until long after he’s gone. He may have tried to have stretched things far too long, but you have to give him credit for trying to make sure that things are in good shape before he leaves rather than continuing to slap free agents in in hopes of getting to the playoffs and hoping for a miracle.
