Gholston deal done???

"The New York Jets have reportedly signed their first round draft choice, defensive end Vernon Gholston.

According to the New York Daily News, the Jets finalized a five-year contract worth nearly $40 million with Gholston, the sixth overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. The deal also includes $20 million in guaranteed money.

The 6-3, 266-pound Gholston, had 37 tackles, 15 1/2 tackles for loss and a school-record 14 sacks as a junior at Ohio State in 2007."

Maybe this will speed things up with Dorsey!

Thanks!

Nice work – 40 million looks to be the floor for Dorsey. Things may move ahead even without Ellis signing

It's official...

Jets sign Gholston; Broncos sign Clady

Both are five-year deals, according to Schefter. Gholston, the sixth overall pick from Ohio State, reportedly signed a $50-million deal that includes $21 million guaranteed.

Clady, the 12th overall pick from Boise state, reportedly signed a $17.5-million contract that includes $11.5 million guaranteed.”

Ghoulston looks like an animal!

I guess we will see if he wreaks havoc or not.
