Jets agreed to terms with LB Vernon Gholston on an undisclosed contract.

Eric Mangini hinted earlier Thursday that Gholston would be available for this evening's practice and the Jets released Etienne Boulay to make room. The deal should be in the neighborhood of $8-9 million per year. Gholston missed a lot of summer practice, so he has some catching up to do.
