Will the rivalry between the Chiefs and Raiders ever be the same?
Reserve safety Greg Wesley, after his release by the Chiefs, has moved on to Oakland without raising a fuss in either city. In Kansas City, this should be tantamount to going over to the dark side. But the Chiefs and Raiders can’t afford to be fixated on each other these days.

Still a Raider Hater
Doesn’t matter if we’re 1 & 2 in the nation or 31 & 32. Hate ‘em, always have, always will. I don’t like their owner and I really don’t like their fans. I don’t like the fact that a fan from an opposing team can’t go to a game in the black hole and expect to come out unharmed. Having said that, if we tell a player we don’t want them anymore, I don’t fault them for going wherever they can get paid. I would feel differently if an unrestricted free agent chose to go there while we were trying to work out a deal.

Sorry about the negative comments
I know we try to stay positive on this website, and I really like that. I hope that doesn’t apply when someone asks my opinion of the Raiders.

Added the new guys
They added the two new WRs. Now they’re showing 84.

That's right
I haven’t been counting the international player on the roster since he can’t be cut and he can’t make the team.

Here's a thought
Wesley knows all our offensive play calls from last year. So we better change them. Hurrah!
does the happy dance
Blame my wife!

In the NFL hatred doesn't always roar
sometimes it just sits in the bottom of your heart and simmers until the right moment. In this case it may come out as he comes onto the field for the first time, or gets knocked on his ass by a block from Bowe, maybe in the 4th quarter after he’s rode the bench all game on the wrong side of the field.
The rivalry is there, and Darth Wesley is just another ill witted pawn being used by the dark side.
I think that as we resume thumping them twice a year – every year, you’ll see, and feel, the rivalry continue.

After Moving to the Bay Area I like Raider's fans better than 49ers fans
The thing about Raiders fans is that the more you hate them, the more they love each other. The feed off it. You ever watched a movie where the wise sage advises the protagonist that the only way to win is to let go of all the hate bottled up inside. Well, that’s how I’ve made it out with my fellow Oaklanders. I live in sf but work in oakland. 49ers fans tend to walk around in a daze. Whenever I ask them about who they think will show up big this year, they mention Vernon Davis, but proceed to remenisce about Joe Montana. Joe Montana, are you kidding me! I mean I know you guys were a storied-franchise, but I was like 8 when that was going on!
Raiders fans seem to pretty much agree that Al Davis lost his mind a long time ago and I have to admit that all the “F*ck all Raider Haters” t-shirts are pretty endearing. I’m going to the Chiefs-Raiders game in November and gearing up for it with jui-jitsu lessons.
I’ll be sure to let everybody know if my opinion changes.

Rivalry....Maybe if they can hold an intelligent conversation..
An ignorant fan is much more tolerable than a stupid one. And passion is differnet than prejudice. To my dismay most Raider fans are the latter to my previous statements.
Side note I have a bet going with one of my Co workers whom claims to be a Packers fan… the bet is two fold 1) Brett Favre will play for the packers this season. (he will owe me lunch when he suits up for Tampa or the Vikes.) 2) That Brett Favre played for the 49ers (I think somewhere he heard Marucci coached him and assumed that he played for San Fran) $20 for me. Now the first bet is out of passion for his team and ignorance to the facts that running a offense is not simple when it is tailored to someone else. The second bet is just stupid. If you don’t know say so.

i doubt he’ll start, but i fear his midair hard knocks on our receivers ~ (i like our 3 young safteys better then him, being a raider is better then wasting 1 of our spots)
