Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Tuesday that the NFL has placed LB Aden Durde on the Chiefs roster as an international developmental player for 2008.

Teams in the AFC West, AFC North, NFC West and NFC South will each have an additional international development practice squad player in 2008 bringing the total of 16 international players on NFL practice squads. Durde will be Kansas City’s international development practice squad player in 2008. Under the terms of this program, Durde cannot be promoted to the 53-man roster once the regular season starts in 2008.
