Los Angeles Stadium Plans Presented to NFL Commissioner

www.losangelesfootballstadium.com Provides Complete Plans

LOS ANGELES, CA – Ed Roski Jr. Chairman of Majestic Realty Co. and the leader of the new effort to return the NFL to Los Angeles presented the designs for the new Los Angeles Stadium to the NFL last Monday.  In New York, the NFL met with Majestic Realty regarding Ed Roski's stadium proposal in the City of Industry in which this state of the art facility would be one of the premier stadiums in the country and will serve as a new entertainment center for families across Southern California.

"At their request, the Roski group provided us an update on their stadium project," wrote NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, "Mr. Roski's site certainly seems to present an interesting possibility. The permitting and construction processes seem to be more defined than other sites we have seen.”

The Los Angeles Football Stadium is moving forward with its plans to build this new stadium.

The stadium development will feature:

  • <!--[if !supportLists]-->592 acres
  • <!--[if !supportLists]--><!--[endif]-->75,000 Seats, including 11,000 club seats and 175 suites
  • <!--[if !supportLists]-->NFL team training facility
  • <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->Medical center and clinic
  • <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]-->25,000 parking spaces
  • <!--[if !supportLists]-->2.8 million square foot mixed use entertainment and office development creating a sports and entertainment destination for Southern California

Interesting

My two questions on it would be:

1) Who’s going to end up footing the bill for it?
2) Who’s going to lose their pro team to fill that stadium?

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

Answers:

1) the city, aka taxpayers
and
2) No one, because as big as LA is, it does not support football teams.

no pro teams at least

they burn their support out on USC.

I guess since their big players are paid, it’s pretty close to pro.

Another viewpoint

They love USC so much because there is no pro team.

A good team

will survive there because california fans, for the most part, are bandwagon fans. Hey, i dont blame them! I wouldn’t watch some crappy team if I could go to the beach instead. Especially after losing the rams (if I remember correctly just drafted eric dickerson, and were quite good at the time), I think that they wouldn’t take a good team for granted again.

California

What you say about California fans is very true. If any of you have spent any amount of time in Cal, especially southern california, the people have a pretty short attention span. There is so much to do there I guess that football is low on the totem pole. Hell, even USC as someone mentioned before, gets alot of outside fans.

No Kidding

Although, to be completely honest I’d probably care a lot less about pro football if I had the entertainment options they do in Southern California. Skiing, surfing, the beach, good nightlife, nice year-round temperatures…heck, I’d probably barely watch TV. In Kansas I tend to watch sports more because there are a lot fewer options for someone who’s single.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

I could see them moving to LA

would they change their name though? You don’t see too many 7 foot long haired blonde Norsemen in southern California…

Those rumors came to a standstill…
