If the Chiefs’ draft evaluations prove accurate, defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey and offensive tackle Branden Albert, both first-round picks, will become their highest rookie achievers.
Yet if NFL history keeps repeating itself, third-round pick Jamaal Charles, providing he can move up the depth chart at running back, might have a better chance for immediate league-wide recognition than either of them.

Can anyone tell me who if any of the players invited to rookie camp got signed?
Most importantly did James McClinton and Pig Brown get contracts?

We Also Signed
G Ian Yates-Cunningham out of Virginia. You probably missed him because they didn’t put the team name in front of his.
I think Steve Octavien could be a good pickup. The schemes they ran at Nebraska were bad but he had talent. Breazell might surprise.

I was under the impression that all of those guys were signed already, and the ones in the weekend mini camp were ..
A whole new crop of rookies. Really was more interested in whether Pig Brown was signed anyway. Thanks guys

Guess McClinton Didn't Make The Cut
It’s a shame, because he seemed like he could have been a contributor. But he was undersized for DT and probably not quite fast enough for DE. Would have been nice to see him sign with the Chiefs and make a contribution, but oh well.
