Let's get an Albert pool going.
I am of the personal belief that the insane money thrown at Matt Ryan will cause almost every first rounder to hold out.
River Falls starts on: July 24
River Falls concludes on: August 15
Our preseason games: @Bears, August 7; Cardinals, August 16; @Dolphins, August 23; Rams, August 28.
Our first game is on: September 7
What's your call?
What should the winner get? We can't just be having this for no reason. Any and all ideas will be welcome.
My guess: July 31st.

There's a bit of confusion...
...regarding Matt Ryan’s contract and the “HUGE” numbers associated with it.
If you’re interested in seeing it (and perhaps forwarding it to King Carl and Albert and Dorsey’s representation) it’s available over at ProFootballTalk.com.

Many have speculated that the Falcon’s front office has a poor understanding of the Salary Cap and the upcoming “uncapped year” and that this drove them to sign Ryan early for the large numbers.
I hope that we can get our guys signed up without much hassle, but I know that I’m just dreaming.
With that said, my prediction is that Albert is in mid-training camp and that Dorsey is signed just after they leave River Falls to head back to KC.

Again
I say just barely before training camp. It’s even more crucial to have Albert in training camp than it is Dorsey so the offensive line can get some cohesion.
Clark, Herm, and Gailey will have Carl hanged if he doesn’t have the deal done by then.
Somewhere within the week right before training camp.
TOUCHDOWN! KAN-SAH-CITY!!!

I agree
Herm, Gunther and Gailey know that this year, of all years, they want the team together, practicing as a team, bonding as a team. We have the room to just get it done.
I’d guess 19 – 23 Jul for Albert and 20 – 24 Jul for Dorsey

Everyone will be in on time
I don’t know why Carl has this terrible reputation for not getting guys to camp. There have actually been few examples of draft picks that held out. Bowe was the first one in 5 years (since Ryan Simms in 2002). Larry Johnson and Tamba Hali were both signed in time.
I expect both Albert and Dorsey to be in on time or shortly after. The Chiefs have plenty of cap space and these guys are the cornerstones of the future.

I say July 21.
Cutting it close, but still in time for River Falls.

What's today?
Seriously though, I think it will be done before camp starts. I’ll say July 23 at 845 AM to be exact.

If you get that exactly right, I will never leave your side.
