Even after leaving New Mexico State University, Maurice Murray still has football in his sights.
The former Aggie defensive end is at the Kansas City Chiefs offseason workout program in hopes of landing on the team's roster for the opening game of the NFL season, set to kick off on the weekend of Sept. 7.
"It's definitely different up here," Murray said. "In college, you can get by on strength, athleticism, you're physical skills alone. In the pros, it's more technical. Lining up right is half the battle. But so far, I think I'm doing good learning the ropes."

I like that the guy’s slimmed down.
I don’t like that he wants to play outside. If he’s concerned about being 330 lbs meaning that he only plays the run at DT, being 290-300 means that he’ll only play the run at DE.
The dude is raw, raw, raw. I love his size but I don’t see it happening.
