This season will be Webb’s opportunity to shine. With the departures of Samie Parker, Eddie Kennison, and Mike Solari, Webb will pretty much have the #2 position gift-wrapped and handed to him by Herm Edwards in 2008. However, with the drafting of Missouri speedster Will Franklin, Webb will have some competition to get playing time. He will also draw plenty of one-on-one coverage, as Dwayne Bowe and Tony Gonzalez will generate a lot of interest from the defenses.
