I knew the guy was huge, and I knew he could run block, but the freak ran a 4.68 second 40 yd.dash at the combine!

Are you kidding me? That's probably almost as fast as LJ is now, and Cottam weighs what, like 280? Ridiculous...I think this kid will be great.
They also have his vertical leap, but I don't think you ever get to see the number (but I think you can hear a guy say something about "eleven" ! )
(and did you notice the ticker on the video that had brandon flowers as Mayock's number 7 overall player?)

I agree, he's gonna be awesome.
His vertical jump is 33 inches… I think he should have gone a lot higher than third round, but he was injured for the first half of his senior year. The second half definitely made up for it though, along with having an awesome showing at the combine.

Jamaal Charles highlights on there if you let them roll around. There is one where he lays out AJ Hawk! Cottams highlight reeel is also there he is definately not afraid of contact.

up He is going to be great.
He had a faster time than Brandon Flowers, and he had a higher vertical than Will Franklin. He was rated has the second best TE a week before the draft.

Yea, Cottam has all of the measurables...
The main reason he slipped to the third was the fact he played in like four games his senior season.
If you YouTube Cottam, he has one catch-and-run against Kentucky where he practically outruns the entire UK secondary. He has some wheels on him, and he can block pretty well too…
I love him.
