I have the red koolaid running through my veins

As far as I can see, Even after stinking it up something fierce last year. I see a turn around next year, 9-7.

I think we start out slow, do well in the middle, then rookies hit the wall at the end

I'll go with 6-10

Its going to be a chemistry thing that will take flight late in the season and carry on to a successful 2009 year.

I could see us

winning 2 games before the bye, but they would both be division games at home…then as the season goes on, the young guys really start learning how to play together and we finish the year strong winning 6 out of the last 8 for an 8-8 record.

by PVChiefsfan on Apr 29, 2008 7:08 AM CDT reply actions

Maybe not 6 of 8

But I do see us finishing well. We’ll have younger guys that will hopefully be better suited to stay healthy the whole season.

Out of this year I want us to end on a solid not so we have hope in 2009.

perhaps

but I think we beat SD at Arrowhead this season…I think Buffalo and New Orleans are going to be tough home games, especially back-to-back.

One more year of darkness before the dawn...5-11

I think our defense will keep us in most games, but we just don’t have the horses to put up enough points to win them. LJ will win 2 games by himself. Croyle will throw a clutch TD pass to Tony G to secure another. Our defense will win us the other two with timely defensive TDs. A year of seasoning for the rookies and a solid draft next season will produce a 10-6 season and at least a first round playoff win.

by Steve The Hedge on Apr 29, 2008 12:36 PM CDT reply actions

Because of our schedule

I think we tack on two more wins than last year.

Granted, last year I went from 10-6 to 6-10 over the course of a few weeks. So, this will probably change too.

I agree

playing the AFC East and the NFC South is good for a rebuilding team (unless what happened when we played the NFC East a few years ago happens again – the giants, redskins, and eagles all stunk one year, and then the next year we played them and I think all 4 teams were above .500…just our luck)...it looks like the AFC South is the leading division right now, with the Texans at the bottom, and they had as many wins as the bottom two teams in our division combined :) but thankfully, we won’t play that division again until 2011. I am saying 5-11 worst case, 8-8 best case (it depends on how teams like the Bills, Saints, Jets, and Panthers improve or don’t improve)

Since we talked so much about Mayock

here’s what NFLN had to say after the draft.
“Of his top 100 draft prospect rankings, 90 were taken within the first 100 picks.” He chose 9 out of the first 10 picks correctly and 7 out of the middle 10 picks.

by Lanier63 on Apr 29, 2008 1:37 PM CDT reply actions

Very Impressive

but after the top 10 I bet his order was way off…there was a LOT of reaching going on in the first round. e.g. I have no freakin’ idea what the Jaguars were thinking.

16-0 baby!

Okay I may be a few games off, I think hold on I am going to put off any predictions until I see our starting line-up and see if everybody gets in camp on time.

by Eric Allen on Apr 29, 2008 4:09 PM CDT reply actions

I'll go with 6-10.

To me, it all depends on BroCro. If he plays really well, we have an outside chance at 8-8. If he plays like crap, we could be as bad as 4-12. I’ll split the difference and go with 6-10.

to B. Dazzle?

That was my favorite.
