More undrafted rookies the Chiefs should be sniffing..
First of all, let me say that I am not 100% sure that these players haven't signed elsewhere already. I cannot find a listing of rookie free agent signings. I can't f igure how some of these guys went undrafted, the talent is surely thee in my opinion. Tell me what you think of them, and also, if possible direct me to a site that may give a listing of who is being signed and where.
QB
Sam Keller, NEBRASKA
WR
Maurice Purify, NEBRASKA
DJ Hall, ALABAMA
Adarius Bowman, OKLAHOMA STATE
Davone Bess, HAWAII

Check NFL.com
I got my info yesterday from the NFL.com Draft tracker, if you go to the specific positions it will have an alphabetical list of players drafted then underneath that a list of undrafted players. It doesn’t say who has been signed, but that should help some.
As far as your list goes I like it alot, with the exception of Keller, not a fan at all. Serna is a 5’6” kicker, but he is very accurate. I bet his height is why he wasn’t picked. This year there are a ton of pretty good WR left in the FA pool, hopefully we snag Bowman!
I am very high on Bowman, same with Purify.
Do you know what the reason was for them not being drafted, or signed thus far?

As far as Serna goes...
I don’t care if he was 4ft 6in tall. If he can kick the ball through the uprights that’s all I need. That is more than we could say for Medlock, Rayner, Tynes…....

Both have character issues
and Bowman is hurt. Purify was arrested in 2006 on 2 counts of assualt, then a month or so later drunk driving. They are both very talented, just need to get their heads on straight.
Bowman has better upside
He’s just a stoner… both issues have involved marijuana. The most recent was possession in early April which caused him to pretty much evaporate from everyone’s draft board. He could have been a first day pick, maybe first round if he had kept himself clean.
For cryin out loud though, the guy is a beast – 6’4” 220 lbs. In 2006 he put up 14 rec for 300 yds and 4 td’s against Kansas. He was a big play threat with burner speed.
He has tremendous upside… but he’s a risk. I’d still take him over Purify any day.

I hate to sound like a Bungle fan but.....
BIG FREAKING DEAL!!! Undrafted!!! SUPER CHEAP! GREAT TALENT! Herm can straighten those kids out. WE ALL screwed up at that age, and 90+% of us didn’t have the high profile they do.
Steve Caskey
Yep
Character issues should only matter when you have millions of dollars at stake.
